Hey, guys!!!! Anyone have any impressions of SFoT? Is is worth a day trip from Hotlanta?
I have a SF season pass and receive travel benefits. Would like to go somewhere and back on the same day.

OK, I haven't been there lately, but I have been there (we were there in Nov. of 1997 for their holiday festival thingy). Of all the SF parks I've been to - SFO, SFMM, SFOG, SFDL, Great Escape - SFOT is EASILY my favorite. It's the original (hence the "six flags" moniker - the six flags that have flown over Texas) and seems to have a sense of its own history. It has some of the usual cheesy SF theming, but more subtle; the park was clean and pretty when we were there; and the rides were generally quite fun. And the Texas Giant, although rarely mentioned on this site, has several times been voted the best wooden coaster in the world. It alone is worth the trip. I guess the only reservation would be the weather - I don't even want to think about how hot that park gets in the dead of summer.
