I think it's worth a trip up there. The park isn't real big, not many coasters. I truly enjoy riding the Comet. It's a coaster with a lot of history. The Comet has an on-ride photo. However, when we were there on Saturday the on-ride photo was only working for about half the seats on the ride. Not sure what the problem was.
But hey, the parking is FREE!
I just wrote a HUGE thing about the Great Escape and my password was wrong so everything got deleted. I wrote about all the coasters and what they were like. I'll try it again later. This is my home park and I actually went today! Anyway, beatiful park, free parking, not so great rides and not so great coasters. COMET RULES!!!
Nightmare: 1999 indoor coaster(smooth, slow lines)
Boomerang: 1997 typical boomerang(slow lines)
Stemin Demon: 80's arrow corscrew coaster (short, one train, slow lines)
Alpine Bobsled: 1998 intamin bobsled coaster (slow lines, doesn't run in rain or dark)
Comet: 1994 double out and back wooden coaster. (awsome airtime, 15 drops, watch out for lateral g's! :-)
