Anybody ready for the 2006 season its coming close!

The 2005 season is coming to a close, so as the year closes, lets talk about the 2006 season at our favorite themeparks.

I'm gearing up for the 2006 season at Dollywood, I ready ride the Timber Tower,Thunderhead,Tennessee Tornado and more!

2006 looks like a great year for interesting coasters--lots of wood, including the return of the Flying Turns.

I'm ready for 2006. Goliath at SFOG, Kentucky Rumbler and Voyage are a few that I am very excited about. I am also hoping to get to SFGA, MT Olympus and Indiana Beach for the first time.

I have to wait to *finish* riding in '05...

:)

^Same here. I know FCC prides themselves in being able to RIDE ALL YEAR, we do the same thing in Missouri. While Jan and Feb make it a little rough and we have to resort to kiddie coasters (SDC opens in March) we still do it. ;)

However it will be a long Jan and Feb...

(edit - took out redundant word)

2005 is over? Crap, why didn't anyone tell me? There are a lot of coasters I missed ;)
I didn't ride a single coaster in 2005. What kind of person am I?

Down is the new up.

I finished off the *season* getting plenty of Thunderhead and Tornado, so I am happy as a pig in s***.

I DO look forward to 2006, though. Toro, Rumbler, Voyage.....lots of quality wood.

Oh, and Goliath. I am not sure I will make it out to SoCal next year but Tatsu sounds sweet as well.

Being a GCI slut girl, I am looking forward to Rumbler the most. :-)

Actually I am looking forward to getting out to parks I have YET to explore....the Dells, New England, Texas, NorCal, the Pacific Northwet, Tampa, etc.

2006 is going to rock! :-)

LOL @ GCI slut girl. You'd think they'd (GCII) put a special tab for that on their website.
Can't wait until June...going to CP most likely. :) and all the usuals during the summer.

The last time I drove by SFA I didn't see a 500' rocket coaster poping up over the skyline of the park. Is this project still go for the 2006 season? I know your uncle works at the park. Maybe you can check with him for me.

Thanks

A day at the park is what you make it!

Wes, Is there an Impulse or water coaster going up as well? Remember, SFA was supposed to get 3 coasters this year! In reality, are they even getting 1?

As far as next year goes. The only new coaster I'm definately going to hit is Voyage. Hopefully I'll get back to Branson and hit everything down there that's new to me, which is everything since Fire in the Hole. And if I'm lucky maybe a return visit to WoF and the four coasters they've installed since my last visit.

Back in the midwest and ready to resume coastering!

Yeah is Good!
Still waiting on all of the above as well. In fact, I haven't even seen a construction crane around the park. Just real estate companies. ;) (kidding folks).

My goal is to finally make it out to Holiday World this spring, hit Kings Island for the first time. It looks like my wife and I will be heading to Texas for a week in April so a return visit to SFOT is possible. I would love to visit SFFT and Sea World as well. That doesn't look like it's going to happen. I would love to find the time to visit SFGAdv and a few other parks in the mid-Atlantic this summer. All possible now that I'm working 4-10 hour days with 3 day weekends. I usually set high goals and as the summer wears on get depressed when those goals didn't pan out. We'll see how far I get this year. My one fall goal is to hit SFOG.

A day at the park is what you make it!

Going to Cali for sure. Going to make a first trip to Knotts and Magic Mountain.

Tatsu is number one on my list.

Fat Chick in a tutu being fed by a midget.

Not sure what I am going to do yet.

There is Florida, Texas, Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana or I can be nice and take my wife on a cruise.

I'm going to Florida here in just a few weeks. I'm also looking at heading somewhere out-of-state one weekend here in the spring. I'm feeling some SFOT goodness, but we'll see. I also hope to visit BGW, seeing as it's only 3 hours away.

LOL! Oh they know. I mentioned it when I did the post-PPP tour in October, I just used more appropriate words. ;-)
