Anybody been to SFMM lately?

I called the park today and they wouldn't tell me what was running and what wasn't, maybe she was busy or something and didn't have time to answere my questions. Does anybody know what is open? I would expecially like to know about S:TE since it's been down since November. I heard it is supposed to open in June but I can't find where i read that. Any info will help as I am going there this weekend (3/21).

Thank IGGY.

IF your post is true! I would like to hear comments about SF's supposed emphasis on improving guest relations. I wish I could say I don't believe you, but I've been to SFMM and called guest relations in the past myself. Ths sounds like same old same old to me!

7 March 2004 as of my 14:00 departure S:TE, DV and FlashBack were not running.
What a waste Flashback is in that park. I really liked that ride and it kinda burns me that its closed Memorial Day till Labor Day. Something about the waterpark? I dunno. But anyway, send that bad boy to SFDL with a black and yellow paint job, maybe some OTSRs instead of horsecollars (I understand why they can't just use lapbars), call it Batmobile and theme the trains, and run it the entire season here in western New York! Nobody here would be any wiser that it came from SFMM and SFDL could use a new attraction.

But then again, what do I know?

Wow, someone that actually wants Flasback! :)

I know its crazy... And I'm convinced that the only reason SFMM has it and they won't move it is to keep the coaster record at 16. I guess even part time coasters count.

But then again, what do I know?

Wouldn't "part time" denote that it actually operates some of the time? It doesn't operate in summer because of alleged issues with noise, it didn't operate this past winter. To me it's as much a coaster as a pile of scrap steel lying in some maintenance area of Cedar Point.

It's safe to say there is a reason why Flashback was never mass produced(or produced at all after that).

The ride pretty much sucked when it was new as Z-Force at SFGAm.

My favorite MJ tune: "Billie Jean" which I have been listening to alot now. RIP MJ.

I went last weekend as part of the RideWorld/ACE ERT event and people at Magic Mt told me that both S:TE and Deja Vu' would be down until June. S:TE for rehab work on both sides, and Deja Vu due to a design flaw that had to be worked out.

Hope that helps.

When I was there the day after Knotts' Coaster Solace... there was s crane around the base of the S:TE sorta under Goliath. I also thought I saw some curved pieces of I-beam steal that looks like track to S:TE but saw none missing on the ride itself.

I heard that many of the flat rides are once again operating
How's X doing?
X was running two trains with decent dispatches on 3/7. I rode it 4 times on an inside seat and could've rode some more. My husband rode on the outside seat and was more than done after the 4th ride LOL.
