Any word on SFNO operating schedule?

I checked the website, but Six Flags hasn't posted anything related to the opening date. I was wondering if anyone had an idea as to whether or not the park might be open the last week of March? Thanks in advance.

I bet they're working a hell of a lot. They need to construct two coasters and re-do almost the entire park into different themed areas.

If it's tourist season, why can't we shoot 'em?

The only area that's getting rethemed is Kiddie Carnival which will be Looney Tunes land. But they are working very hard in changing the park from Jazzland to Six Flags New Orleans and to build the new DC Superheroes section. I believe Jester is about finished getting its new paint job (thank goodness they repainted... what was Fiesta Texas thinking painting it pink!?) as well as Batman. The footers are being poured for Batman: The Ride, and cranes are on the site. The original posted opening date was March 22nd but I believe it got pushed off until April 5th.
