Any thoughts on the Superman ride coming to SF Discovery Kingdom?

I was just looking at RCDB, and the new Superman coaster that is coming to SF Discovery Kingdom sure looks different. I'm guessing that it is a launch coaster, since it has under 900 feet of track. But, does anyone know any other stats on this coaster?

Is it going to run more than one train? If it is a one train coaster, it will probably be a capacity nightmare. From looking at the concept of the ride, it only takes 12 passengers at a time. But, it certainly looks like there will be some crazy moments on this ride, like exiting the top of a loop in an upright position, and an crazy angled decent into the loop eliment, and a g-roll over 150 feet in the air. makes me wonder if this is just going to be another victim of the TTD rollback.

On another post, people were commenting on which ride to send to MA from Canada's Wonderland, The Bat, or Time Warp. I say forget that, I hope they get a ride like this instead. Might be short, but looks so crazy it just might be insanely fun!

I know not always reliable but wikipedia has some info on it,

In regards to MA, I think a launched coaster would actually fit good in MA. Not so much Superman type but something like the Backlot Stunt Coaster would be nice.

Oh look, a timber rider topic. Oh, look, a topic in which timber rider bitches about something...

Why am I not surprised?

MA is the equal of the 11th son in a family.. Only hand me downs for you!

Pretty excited about this since it's at my home park.

By watching the video it looks like rollback is actually part of the ride. I do agree that capacity is going to be a terrible problem, but I'll deal with it.

What bitching? I think it's going to be a pretty cool ride. I just think it's going to have a capacity issue. What's wrong with that? Capacity on a coaster has never been discussed before? I think it would be a great addition to Michigan's Adventure. I know the people here would like something like that. If they added something like that this year, then I would say the price hikes would be justified.

Not going to comment further.

Capacity is a good topic to discuss. I enjoy it and find it very interesting. Too bad we have to read interjections about why Michigan Adventure is lame (in a topic about Discovery Kingdom) because they are not getting one of these new coasters, and that they are raising their admission price by a few dollars.

Yeah, comparing attractions between a park in California and a park in Michigan... not necessary, and not particularly comparable.
