Any SoCal peeps want to help Badnitrus out?

Hey helpful buzzers...

I just got off the phone with Keith and it seems as though him and his friend are in a diemma. They are at Knott's Berry Farm right now and were planning on going to SFMM tomorrow. However, it turns out their ride had something come up last minute so they have no way of getting up to SFMM now.

The question is are there any of you in the area that can give them a ride to SFMM tomorrow from Knott's Berry Farm (he'll be doing an interview at 11am by Xcelerator) and back down to Knott's after that? He said they would cover all gas costs for the gesture so no worries there.

I know this is totally last minute and all but they really wanted to go to SFMM since they haven't been on everything there. If anyone can help 'em out tomorrow post here or email me at JTCoastin99@aol.com.

Thanks in advance guys!

EDIT: I just got a message saying that if anyone can do this they'll be allowed to be on of the first riders on Xcelerator on Sat at 3pm. Also, they will be invited to the VIP dinner afterwards. So if you've got nothing to do tomorrow, spend the day with Badnitrus at SFMM and be one of the first to ride Xcelerator on Sat! :)

LOL this sounds like some sort of promotional contest. ;)

Yeah, it doesn't sound completely safe that you're asking a bunch of strangers to bring him, but it's a nice gesture. If I was near there, and I could drive, I would.

Why ride rough coasters when you can ride smooth ones?

Spend the Day with Badnitrus Contest!!! I like the sound of that. Be the first to provide a ride for Badnitrus and company to SFMM, and win the day with Badnitrus, as well as being one of the first to ride Xcelerator. I sure hope there is someone out there who can help out.

I'm going to have to rag on the cheap bastard for not renting a car. ;)

Jeff, I thought the same thing, then I reconsidered. Perhaps he's not yet 21 which makes renting a car anywhere outside of New Yerk extraordinarily difficult.

Well, you can rent a car when you are 21, but doesn't it cost more??? I thought you needed to be 25 in order to rent a car.

Yeah, they're 21 but the fees for the rental at that age would have been ridiculous, not to mention they HAD a ride until last night...oh well, looks like they're stuck at Soak City for today. No SFMM for them!

Yeah, at 21 you get hit with the "baby tax", but if you're only going to have the car one day, the extra 20bucks might not be so bad.

But there are only a handful of places that will even consider renting to someone under 21, even WITH a "baby tax". Except in New York where it is a matter of law that they must.
