Any Parks South of Orlando Flordia?

Going to IOA in Orlando, wanted to know if any parks south of IOA that I could stop at on my way to Key West.
I beleive that there is a park called Boomers somewhere near Miami if I am not mistaken. They have a woodie and a couple other rides I think. The woodie looks like it is an awsome ride to check out if you are on your way by.

Have you hugged a Beemer today?

A good place for a Six Flags over Florida!
The park is called Boomers it is home to The Dania beach hurricane. It is a great litle woodie. The price isint bad either $10 for unlimited rides on the coaster.

Oh yeah Joey..."not bad". *Damning with faint praise* comes to mind. Shoot, $10 for a couple of evening hours on DBH is what I call a real coasting bargain. It's even directly on the way to Key West, what could be more convenient. Just look for the mid-sized woodie on the left as you drive I-95 South...clearly the best wood in the state IMO. Airtime on the finishing leg.

BTW, Kissimmee is a little south of O-town, and Old Town boasts two coasters, a standard Windstorm model (nice drop off the midcourse) and a kiddie Wisdom coaster....also home to the TALL Skycoaster and Slingshot and a couple assorted flats. Good place for kids and shopping...

Iam Going down there too around Miami and Orlando for Winter Vacation. I am thinking about going too Boomers see you in Florida.

The Miami Zoo is nice by the airport, as the Miami Seaquarium is also a winner.
What about Busch Gardens? It's in Tampa.

Yes, definitely stop by Boomers and ride the Dania Beach Hurricane. Even if you can get *1* ride in (which is about 6.95) it will still be worth.

I definitely concur with 'gator. Great mid-size woodie with an awesome finish!!

100th coaster....Dania Beach Hurricane!

Count me in as a Dania Beach Hurricane convert, we made the drive down there from Orlando in the middle of the night and back just for that - and don't regret it at all.

I agree agree hole heartedly we all above...The Dania Beach Hurricane is a great little Out-n-Back Woodie. You get LOTS of Standup Airtime and a surprise @ the end...

I'm a little bias on this one...since I was the FIRST Rider on opening night 11-4-2000. This is MY COASTER :o)

I love the Dania beach hurricane. My family has a Condo down in Pompano Beach and we go there a few times every year. We are only 10 minutes away from Boomers.
