any parks near nashville

Are there any good parks near nashville I should visit?

There are 5 parks in Tennesee...but only one in Nashville, Opryland I believe, but I think that is defunct.
opryland is indeed defunct.. now its just a huge mall

Most of the parks in TN are on the other side of the state, Dollywood, Lake Winnie etc. Nashville shouldn't be too far from Six Flags St Louis, or Silver Dollar City in Branson. SF Kentucky Kingdom and Holiday World aren't too far of a trip up 65 but you will have at leat a couple hours drive anywhere you go.

Off the top of my head here is a breakdown of parks near Nashville (of course near is a relative term):

SFKK- 2.5 hours
Lake Winnie- 2 hours
Dollywood- 3 hours
Libertyland- 3 hours
Beech Bend- 1 hour
SFOG- 4 hours
Holiday World- 3 hours
