Word is that the park won't be open/reday on May 1st, their scheduled opening.
Not what I had heard yesterday. Basically just chillout and wait man, theres more important things to waste stress over.
But what do I know?

PS - in case anyone is wondering I deleted the thread myself.
CP turns out the big winner with no competition for the northern Ohio market....and Six Flags Geauga Worlds of Ohio Adventure Lake becomes "the next Old Indiana" of the SFI chain.
Thinking of it this way means that WHATEVER results, you'll not be disappointed...;)
The good news for ME is that SFoG gets S:UE....but the ride gets re-named....V2.2...:)

There is nothing that clenses your soul like getting the S*** kicked out of you.

Plus I would never be stupid enough to say that Emmitt Smith is the best running back since Jim Brown (no Mr. Long Island, that would be Walter Payton!)

P.S. Emmitt, from Escambia County AND from UF....is at least the best running back SINCE Sweetness....apologies to the Sanders guy, he just didn't stick around long enough...;)
As for me being the better-looking one, I figured it was *understood* that that was a joke...heck, I even included one of these..;)
Back *towards* the topic....I do *still* want an Intamin launch of SOME kind here in the Southeast...not that I'm ungrateful for the Vekoma and Beema launches we HAVE...they're just not that intense...
But back to topic..
We will all know whats going down with this deal when the info is released...

That's ram-a-lam-a-ham-dam ;).
I wouldn't expect the wait to be much longer. I really don't think Cedar Fair would offer Six Flags $145 Million, say the deal is going down, and just back out, although I am no business expert. You would have thought the deal was finalized when Six Flags' stock price skyrocketed...
And believe you me, the SF/CF deal *will* go through...Patience "Daniel-san"
