Any news on Phantoms Revenge?

The REAL reason they don't want employees giving out details? Liability...;)
Thats all fine, but the BS doesn't need to be told on here.

Coasterbuzzer, I'm a year away from being an engineer. You might be suprised what I would 'understand'.

I'm a year away from being an adult film star in Japan. ;) *couldn't resist*

Rob - big in Japan

Word,
Engineer or receiver of an engineering degree? There is a slight difference there.

The reason ride ops don't give out information is that 95% of the time they don't know what the hell is going on. (No offense.)

It's not a secret what was going on with PR. The day it was down, I heard the president/CEO of the park telling some GP woman exactly what the problem was. All she did was ask.

There's no conspiracy theory, we just don't want 1,000 ride ops telling people what they feel the problem is.

Wow, Rob. And here I thought you were Big All Over...
Reciever of an engineering degree. Point well taken.

Tekno, your head might get stuck in his ass if you try any harder.

Down is the new up.
Better than my head being stuck up my own. You'd know all about that, wouldn't you?

And for that matter, why would I be trying to do anything any where near Rob's behind? He's my friend, but we're not that close.

On a brighter note. Thunderbolt got a new track during the off season.
Good to hear. I thought Thunderbolt was awesome in Oct., I'm excited to ride them all in the summer, as long as I get some nite rides.
Glad to hear the T-Bolt got some new track this past winter, I was there in February and it did look like it got some new paint.

I have found T-Bolt was a little rougher then it used to be in some areas. I have a bad back and I can tolerate most woodies. Except MS, it's a POS. Had to take a percocet after that one.

But I will be at KW with an awesome group of people next Sunday, so I will see if the new track feels any better, and more oppurtunites to moosh the boys.

Can't wait, there is gonna be some mega night rides on PR and T-Bolt! wOOt!

Last year, my father broke his ribs on T-bolt not listening to my advice to not sit far away from the left side of the train dropping into the cyclone section of the ride. But, sat as far over as he could and slid into the side and broke his ribs... go figure.

btw, Tekno, it's Carrie and Bo, not Kerri and Bo... ;) (Yes, yes I admit, I watch American Idol).

They should ban tone deaf people from voting. The black girl was clearly the best singer.

Down is the new up.
Apparently you are smoking something. If you were really paying attention that "black girl" has a name. It's Vonzell. That in it's self tells me either you are one of the deaf people, or just don't really pay attention to the show enough to criticize.
Happy now, Shaun? ;)
I didn't say deaf. I said tone deaf. If 'real' musicians were the judges, the results of the show would be different.

Down is the new up.
Rctycoon2k i never heard of that happening. how did your dad break his ribs anyways? you have to have a partner so how did he slid to the other side? Thats what i don't get.
Word, it doesn't matter if you are about to be an engineer or not. For the most part, the majority of the GP are not engineers and wouldn't understand. The employees are not going to go through the crowd and ask for credentials, and then when you show them you're an engineer, they'll explain it to you. That's nonsense.

The park doesn't "owe" you an explanation like some people here seem to think. *** Edited 5/22/2005 2:51:27 PM UTC by Coasterbuzzer***

From what I was told working my rides, whenever we have something go wrong with the ride(which in the case of t-pike is usually a dead car)We are not sopossed to even discuss the problem with our fellow team members for the sake of a guest overhearing us. We would then discuss the problem with the managers/supervisors on staff in a location were the guest can't hear us. We just calmly say we are evaluating the problem and will reopen as soon as we can. Even after an incident it's not a good idea to be talkin about it on here PGH, with the case of the women hurting her back. Media hogs love that stuff, and I'm sure there are a few on here.
