Any news from the Viper funeral at SFOG?

I was wonder if they gave any indication of what is coming next year in place of Viper?
I wish I could have been there to say goodbye. Now I know what it feels like(Tidal Wave).
There was no announcement during the ERT for ACE members this past sunday night, but the dismantling of Viper was to began this past monday morning. It seems that there is a hurry to get Viper down. As for what is going to take his place is unknown at the present time though alot of rumours are being thrown around on the net. Guess we have to wait till the park is ready to tell use what is going on.

Something strange took place during the ERT though. During the second to last run of the evening there was a problem and the train was braked in the station before going into the back spike. The train was pushed to the starting position and one test run was done.

At around 8:48 the last launch of Viper took place. I was luck enough to be seating in the front. It was the best ride of the evening and I am looking forward to what SFoG has planned to replace it.

The last rides of the evening on GASM, then the last ride EVER for the Viper (at SFoG).  A great evening overall, and I picked up a few Viper souvenirs CHEAP as well.  While Viper had its final breakdown at ~ 8:30 pm, I got three front rides on GASM (tracer lites, cool damp weather, YUMMY!).  Then RAN to Viper for the last ride...ACE rocks!!!!!

True that the park was trying to keep mum about future plans for that space, but there were a few tidbits:  replacement will NOT be a clone of  S:UE, and there were a few hints about height restrictions...I asked them to post when/if they started selling Viper's theming goodies!

Is anyone going to post de-construction photos when they become available?
