I read somewhere that Microprose/Hasbro would *like* to make as sequel as the first one made them a lot of money. A sequel could easily make them a ton of cash.
I heard that Sawyer is waiting for computer technology to progress a bit before releasing a sequel,he want's the advancements so he can add the precise level of detail to rct-2that he couldn't add to the original game,I would like to see at least one more expansion pak though preferably focusing on new thrill rides which is what rct really needs
I'm pretty sure that the upcoming X-Box packs quite a punch!!
That's got more technical power than anything at home or the arcade, and would certainly be a great system to make the next Rollercoaster Tycoon with such realism!! (only problem is the limitation of the screen resolution of standard TV's!!).
Dawg Byte, currently, it would. But 3 months after X-Box's release, not really. And I really don't think Chris Sawyer would want to make a game for a console, much less a real-time stragtegy game! I must say, those on console mean the end of a once great game.
