The small park at the Swap-n-Shop is pretty cool, plus you can visit a third world mercado while you're scoring a credit (small Herschell)...there's also a Techno-Jump and a powered Dragon coaster, as well as a small flume and a few other goodies for the little ones...

Have FUN!

Sure, the ops are painful slow, but those wristbands are available every day now, and for 10 bucks you can ride until you're done...catch it after a rain, when the sun is down and the weather's warm, and you MAY find yourself making room in your top ten....:)
Abandon Mine (sic) is a darn fun ride though, and ya never know when you'll get another shot at a Molina...my advice, go to BOTH places....SwapShop by day, and Boomers at night...

I am now REALLY looking forward to this business trip!
It is not to be missed if one is in the area.
I lived down there briefly before coming up to UF before college....that was a LONG time ago....;)
First, I can't emphasize how nice it was to ride a woody without any trims at all. The ride is very fast paced and has excellent air-time, especially at the end.
After riding in all rows, I lost track of rides after 25 or so, which was well worth the $10 all you can ride wristband. While riding at night, I ran into an older couple of ACErs and we discussed recent happenings while riding. Unfortunately I did not get their names.
Officially, the Boomers people are rebuilding the red train, as it is completely dismantled under the station. While there on Monday, they were repainting the metal frames of all the cars with black paint. Also, I would like to share that the 'lighting' system for the ride is somewhat unique...it must be a 'Coasterworks' exclusive, as I have never seen it on any other coaster. The lights are actually LED's attached to long, skinny PC boards, and flash with either in unison, strobing, or pattern.
If you are ever near Ft. Lauderdale or Miami, I strongly suggest that you stop by and run a few laps on this great paced ride!
