Any coaster with 2 types of trains on same circut?

I was wondering...

Is there any Roller Coaster that has two types of trains on the same Circuit?

for example, perhaps a stand-up and a sit down?

Yea the Texas Tornado at SFAW has both the old trains and the new trains on the same track. The Old train was sitting in the station while a new one sat behind it. I also saw another one of the new ones sitting on the transfer track. Too bad it was SBNO on my visits to AW.

I may one of the few who would love to see both the Gerstlauer and PTC on Legend, Give that othe PTC to Raven for a second train for mornings and evenings and special events.

Chuck, who will go back to HW one more time to give the PTC's on legend one more chance this year.

Chuck would likely be the ONLY person at HW to ever say "no thanks, I'm waiting for the G-train"....;)

Well, Gator...perhaps the G-trains hit Chuck's g-spot?

LMAO.....Conneaut's Blue Streak would count too, since it has had several different trains over the years. Right now there are 2 types, though the "old" train (they're both old, really) which resembles those Kennywood's Jack Rabbit, hasn't run in awhile. The NAD, IMO, would count as a stand up!

The possibilities of that would be cool. Having a coaster with options of floorless, sitdown, and stand-up.

I lost my hat on Poison Ivy. How pathetic.

Here is a coaster with 5 diffrent ways to ride. Dont think there is any in production.

That would be awesome make it fun to ride more than once.

(Former Signature replaced due to bad joke with accident) The Beast at night-Two peas in a pod?

After talking to Chuck before he thinks they haven't worn in yet. They just aren't performing for him like the ole' G's yet.

That is pretty kool supermandl!

I am sorry, I have looked at several ways to write this and have done so many times but cannot do so without maintaining the respect that HW deserves.

I will simply say that Legend is not nearly as insane as it used to be, However I still am optimistic.

Chuck, who says Legend is still a great ride, I just never expected Raven to ever to be able to blow it away in the insanity dept.

Thunderation at Silver Dollar City has a Fowards Train and a Partly Backwards train on the same track.

Hmm the train on Screechin Eagle is half NAD and half PTC. It is downright odd looking. NAD frame and running Gear PTC top.

All I need is 4.5 million bucks and a half a mile long sliver of land and maybe someone could build me my very own Shivering Timbers. ;)

I would love to see Stand Up trains on Medusa. The only problem is the cobraroll, drop after the brakes, and maybe the interlocked corkscrew. Huh......now it just sound impossible....(sigh).

Wow supermandl, The caripro Iflyer looks very cool ! The layout is a little bland. but the 4 seated spinning invert , I bet would be an intresting ride. I wonder if we'll see any here in the states....

Nope, he wouldn't be alone. Given the choice I'd *never* touch the PTC's either...and I can safely say Jeff Tolotti would be joining us in that queue as well.

I can just see it now, "Ride the G-Trains, 2x the Insanity, 1/10th of the wait" :-)

I bet that causes a lot of confusion in the queue lines due to people that will want to ride on a certain train.

Yeah I can see it now:

"Anybody want to go in front of us? We're waiting for the floorless."

"Heck no, we don't want the stand-up either."

IIRC, the Japanese coaster that ran two different trains actually has separate loading stations with signs telling which train loaded on which platform.....not that I've been there, mind you, just going off my memory from the RC! magazine article....
