Any coaster still get you scared?

I would have to say that every time I go on oblivion it still gives me butterflies in my stomach! I do miss that feeling now though as I used to get on every coaster!
im done with being scared of coasters now that i have ridden millennium force!

Sit up right, hold on tight!
The first time I rode Millennium Force I got to admit I was a little scared...But after 10 rides on it now its just a great Rush ! NOTHING beats that first Drop !

Another one I still gets sweating is X Flight !
Wow ! A flying dutchman is a Intense thrill to me. I still get butterflies just thinking about it ! The flying position you are in, is truly unique ! Its the ONLY coaster I get scared to ride.
I guess this why I like it ! I haven't been on a coaster that gives me that feeling in a long long time.
I am still a little scared of MF especially that first drop at 80° being that I have only ever ridden it twice. A few others still give me that butterfly feeling but none others really scare me per say.
I am sacred of every coaster but Alpie, and FoF, and the Anaconda.

It isn't a roller coaster but the Aero 360 at Kennywood always makes me nervous. But I love the ride but it just always makes me nervous. It's weird.

"Welcome back Rator riders. How was your flight?"
Yes. I am scared of just about every coaster. I have to force myself to go on almost every coaster. I still love em tho.
I was scared prior to riding Hypersonic. I'm still freaked out of my mind about possibly riding Batwing soon.

Six Flags America? No, no! My name means "Sarcasm-For-All"
Yes, I guess I have to admit that halfway up the lift on my first ride on MF I got "sweaty palms". :)

I am scared any rides at SFWOA - the safety is that bad, not to worry there never open

Dont dream it, ride it!!
I'm not scared of any coaster, but then again i havent had the chance to ride anything "scary" like MF or hypersonic. I do get nervous sometimes, but an excited nervous, more like anticipation for the top of the lift or when the LIM's are firing up. I love it all - that's why i ride coasters, for the strange emotions and feelings they bring out
S:UE or really any rides that shoot you off really fast.
What part of a flying coaster makes you nervous. I thought that X-Flight wasn't scarry more than it was strange. If that ride was taller it would be scarryier.

Boomerangs, I'm scared they're gonna give me a headache. They usually do.
the first time i rode millennium force last year, i got the front seat and it was my first ride of the day. I almost didn't go on!!! Thank god i did though cause it was awesome. And then the next day i was there i was lucky enough to get the back seat!! Complete Awesomeness!

I feel the same but i still wonder if i can still be classified as an enthusiast going on that feeling alone. If being a coaster enthusiast means comparing parks and ripping them up even though they feed into my biggest desire then i'm afraid i don't fit in the "enthusiast" category.I feel no need to compare any park simply because i am thankful they all dish out the money to build coasters for me to enjoy.I rarely eat at a park because, if i want good cheap food,i am going to make it myself so,there is no need for me to complain about park food.I rarely look at the ground when i am heading for a coaster because, the coaster is the only thing on my mind so,i guess you can say i am oblivious to trash.I can go to the local mall and look at trash all over the mall landscapes and complain about it if that's my desire but, life is too short for that.As long is there is no trash in the train of the coaster i am about to sit in,i could care less and, same goes for smiling ride ops.As long as they check my lapbar and send my train out, they have done their job and i am moving on to the lift hill to tackle the whole reason i am at the park, the coasters!Line jumpers are aggrivating and, park security would be nice but, they really don't add all that much time to my wait for a coaster and, eventually i'll get on it and that's all i'm there for.I just refuse to go to any park and be there for any other reason then to ride the coasters.I am not a park, food,or security critic,i am just a person who loves roller coasters.I post this here simply because any other place i can post my opinion would probably get closed very quickly and my opinions would not be heard but on the other hand, they are just my opinions.I am so tired of questioning two people who post here through e-mail about the reasons why all the static is necessary here. They know who they are and Thanks Guys, you have been a great help :).I would just love to know why everyone wastes their time on the small stuff when the coasters are suppossed to be what this forum is all about??I understand that a friendly atmosphere is a nice one to be in but,we are talking the general public and alot of times they are hard to deal with so,give the ride ops a break.Anyone who has worked with the general public for x amount of hours in the day should know you have to take a heck of alot of grief.I can go to a resturant and get a waitress that has had a very bad day and i can plainly see she isn't in a good mood but,the minute i smile at her and let her know i'm not going to give her a hard time but instead, try and joke with her and lighten her up,she is instantly relieved. These situations are everywhere, not just amusement parks have these problems,it's all around us but,i won't live my life looking for it so i can complain about it.

LIM with OTSR......
I haven't been scared of a coaster in a long time. When I was in line for Nitro on Monday, a car got stuck on the lift. I was HOPING to get stuck at the top of the lift...that would be cool. While no currently operating coaster really scares me, X looks like it might be pretty terrifying, and I bet I'd get nervous prior to riding it. I'm scared to death to go on one of those Ripcord rides, though.

I wish I were more scared of coasters. When I'm scared there's more of a thrill.
I have ridden MF 3 times now, and it still makes me nervous.
I'm scared of inverts in general. I can't ride anything where my feet dangle, It completely freaks me out. I'm trying to work up the nerve to try one again, but so far I haven't been able to. *** This post was edited by chris on 6/20/2001. ***
