I know B&M haven't made that many bad rides (except for Iron Wolf and Vortex), but how about Intamin? They are responsible for some excellent coasters including Millennium Force, S:ROS, S:UE, and Volcano: The Blast Coaster, yet they are not a hyped as B&M - why?

Parks done 2001: BPB, PKI, SFWOA, CP, KW, HP, DP, Knoebels, Astroland, SFGAdv, SFNE, SFA, LC, Moreys Pier, PKD, PCW, BGW, DMP.
Because there are more B&M coasters than Intamin? Besides the S:ROS rides, you don't find parks cloning the Intamin coasters.
How many Intamin coasters we're built this year? Two clones (Vertical Velocity). You'd figure a park would have built another Giga like MF, but it didn't happen. I wonder why?
How many B&M coasters we're built? 3 (Nitro, Wildfire, Talon)
The only new Intamin ride I can think of is Achrophobia at SFoG.
I'm starting to hype Intamin because their rides are great and do not break down. I can't think of any bad Intamin ride, they all Rule.

First of all, Iron Wolf is not a bad ride!
A bad ride Intamin has made has got to be Flashback, I mean, it's the only space-diver ever built!

I wholeheartidly agree. it's an awesome ride, and since Vortex is more or less the same, it must also be a great ride

It's the money. Not very many parks will spend $25 million on a single ride.

So many coasters - so little time.
They do have some incredible looking wood coasters in japan. White Cyclone and Regina both of which feature beautiful huge helixes like American Eagle. It would be a great asset to the USA to have Intamin built wood coaster, especially with their new one piece track design.
Batman: The Escape is an Intamin stand-up coaster that is extremely rough. That's a pretty bad ride.

I Survived Millenium Force!
Intamin have many coasters coming for them. What about the record-breaker coming to Thorpe Park? What about the Giga coming to Heide-Park? What about Expedition Ge-Force? Thay are hyped, just not as much as B&M.

Let the bears pay the Bear Tax, I pay the Homer Tax.
Did y'al forget about Metro (I mean Tornado) the inverted Intamin in Finland? Anyway, Intamin is just starting to branch out here in the US.
robvia says that he thinks giga should have popped up because of Millie. But I look at it this way. S:ROS @ SFDL came out and within the next two years, FOUR Intamin hypers were built (S:ROS^2, EGForce, Millie) which might I add is one more hyper than B&M :)

You thought I wouldn't sell without ya, sold NINE MILLION!
Because there are more B&M coasters than Intamin?
Well actually ther's more Intamins than B&Ms just.
http://www.coaster-network.com/bm/main.htm And a bad Intamin? How about Indiana Jones Temple Du Peril (sp?) at DLP? It's rough and it doesn't have a good layout/design. The theming is great but Intamin didn't do the theming so... it's a bad Intamin that shouldn't exist.

I don't think they are just starting. Way back in 1981 they built American Eagle, thats in America, right? They also constructed Whizzer and Tidal Wave in the 70s, and thats SFGAm alone.

Yeah, rcdb states the oldest Intamin in the US as the two Whizzers.

SFGAm: SCREAM. THRILL. REPEAT. Two New Coasters in 2001!
DROP ZONE @ PGA.. cuz some kid died.. i never rode it no more so spOoky the hauntings oMG! lol
Flashback at SFMM is definatly a bad Intamin.
FLASHBACK, AND STE. FLASHBACK IS A ROUGH PIECE OF CRAP, AND SUPEMAN IS A BORING PIECE OF CRAPO
mf is not a good intamin but it's not bad!

Well a lot of rides "made" by Intamin aren't Intamin... Intamin didn' start actually making their own rides until years ago. Before then they were a lot of B&M and Schwarzkopf sold through Intamin.

Who made American Eagle? Is that a coaster that they accually did build? I know thats not something that was built recently, so who is the real person behind it?
