I haven't been around this site when "announcement season" comes around, but I have a feeling that if you visit enough, you won't miss it.  Just hold your horses, and wait.

Heck, it's like Christmas to me.

Thats real funny, huh? Well I meant the name of the ride and kind that was supposed or rumoured to be announced yesterday, smart-a**

I was wondering the same as Mike S. When is the announcement of the ride's name, color, style, etc., going to be announced? Someone, I believe it was seasupersonic, said it was to occur on October 1st. I realize it isn't even the off-season yet, but it has been approved for awhile and the area is all fenced off and preped (for the most part) for construction to begin.

I'm guessing that you might get to see what it looks like before or around the time it's announced. ;)

I just went this past weekend and I have found a spot perfect for a B&M coaster of this design. Most likely over in the back by Double Trouble and the SROS over banked turn. Extra parking lot is over there all gravel none paved. So I see that to be the number one spot for the new coaster.

Top 5
1.) Beast 2.) Phantom's Revenge 2.) SROS (SFNE) 4.) SROS(SFDL) 5.) MF

Beastnum1 is referring to the fenced off area in the parking lot. I've seen this section of parking lot as well. This is the area where the coaster is going to be located. The site has been cleared and construction could begin anytime.

Well, thanks for the imput anyway, I think Jeff is right, there shouldnt be any reason to epect an announcement before the track arrives.
