He's a douche. Why anyone in the industry still puts up with him is beyond me.

Fewer and fewer are putting up with him. And let's face it...the man is ancient. He can't be doing this forever.
Ever since the media event I was at where I heard the PR rep say "Oh, he's here, huh?" (sighs) "Fine, let him in..." (rolls eyes), I have had very little respect for Ruben.

"You seem healthy. So much for voodoo."
I thought it was pretty universally accepted opinion.
Don't know the guy, never met him, but I've never heard someone defend him until CoasterDemon's comment.
First time for everything, isn't there?
I still don't understand how The Beast made the list and Diamondback didn't. What, too much like Intimidator?
Such a shame that at Dragster media day my camera failed to catch what I managed to see. Amazing how fast that man can move when there is a queue opening up...

Geez, Paul Ruben is still around? And people are still paying attention to what he has to say?
I never met him, but I was around him once when he was filming something about Xcelerator. Between takes he wasn't too nice to his production team. He came off as an arrogant a-hole and seemed to complain about everything.
Also, he was talking about the ride like he had been riding it for years. It wasn't even open to the public yet. Heck, it wasn't even open to the enthusiaststs who were attending a Knott's event at the time.
