Jeff "Peabody" Rogers surprised his girlfriend Lauren Cruice in her hometown of New Orleans yesterday and asked her to marry him. She said yes! They're considering a Nov, 2005 wedding.

Congratulations! ;-)

Congrats, but you have to cut down that engagement time! I got engaged in February 1999, married in November 1999, and we were done planning in a month and wishing we had planned a summer wedding...

Couldn't get him to switch teams, eh, Moosh? You're not going to make your recruiting quota this month!

Alright Jeff! I hope Lauren knows what a great guy she's a feeling she does...

CPG 4EVA! (You signed the document in blood if you recall correctly)...:)

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Jeff...Moosh almost had me with his unbelieveable backrubs he was dishing out at SRM last year. Straight guys beware! ;) After Rob, Dawn, and myself we were all starting to get worried after our turns!

Bill...I think I signed mine with coaster grease...did that count? Or is that what you guys used to make the sign of the coaster track on my forehead during the initiation ceremony (Glad you are affeciating, and not Moosh!) ;)

I gots me a man, I don't need Peabody! But let's not turn this into a thread about Me and Zingo!...the focus should be on Peabody's good news.

And yes, she does have a GREAT guy!

mOOSH [backrubs still available]

Wow everyone is getting engaged on here anymore. I myself am engaged to Missy (see profile) and are getting married next year -- place we want to get married at is booked until them :(

Are there any bachelors left on these boards? :)

Some of you are lucky to have enthusiast significant others....I'm still working on mine....taking her to the Vallyfair event for her first event and first hypercoaster!

Fantastic news, peabody! :) But couldn't you move it up a month (or so), and get married during PPP?;)

Mooshy -- right back at ya.

Oh wow, Peabody - you got yourself a "green" one. My girl is up to 270 coasters, before she met me she had only ridden 12 (those at SFStL and WOF). Since then SHE has become the one to organize our coasting trips and is also the photo editor for MiG. You have to love her. :)

< thrilled my man loves coasters and flat rides ;)

My girl was up to a few small steel coasters when I met her years ago (back when we were just "friends"), now she has 142 coasters on her list. What have I done?
Thursday, July 1, 2004 2:05 PM
I swear we'd have more, but it's tough with doggies!

Hey congrats!

Congrats Jeff! You guys sound perfect for each other and I know you'll have fun living near yet *another* Six Flags park. So, is she a huge Star Trek and Adult Swim fan as well? ;)

I don't have a girl myself... Or boy for that matter. =p
