Another Mega Wedgie hits Kentucky

I just wish six flags would invest in hurican harbor at Great Adventure. They need to give me a reason to go there instead of splish splash.

Not to speak for Shaggy, but I think the point was that the park's new addition is TOO close, temporally and distance-wise, on the heels of the Splashin' Safari addition. Given the waterpark needs of SFKK, they could have added several different things this year that would have created a more *diverse* product from what SS offers. As far as "what would FIT", SFKK isn't that far from IB, I'm sure they could figure out a way. ;)

....and SFKK doesn't really want to go after HW's market too much, it's a battle they'll lose (like the old GL/CP comarison) - bad marketing strategy.

Anyway....that's what I *think* Shaggy was trying to get at...it certainly was MY point. ;)

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

Coasters or other major dry rides are one thing, waterslides are another. I just don't see the GP making a connection between these two slides, or at least not to the point it makes any difference. If the priority was increasing capacity and draw to the waterpark then I don't see how a bowl slide is a bad choice regardless of what HW built last year.

I'm also a little lost as to why SFKK shouldn't be going after HW's market. If they overlap geographically then does SFKK really have any choice? It seems as though the competition should in theory be good for both.
