While on the Racer yesterday I looked back and saw 6 cars wrapped in a clear see through material, and I know these were the train because it had a silver color with a green line around it and it was right next to the launch tunnel. When riding yesterday I noticed that they now have the belt connected to the restraint so I'm guessing the new train will be like that also. I am just glad there will finally be a 3 train operation on FoF probably within the next week!

Awesome if that happens. I only hope it doesn't just replace another train instead.

I went to PKI on the 16th, and I thought they did just fine with two train operation. I don't thinka LIM coaster can use more than 2 trains
though...

Also, Sonny is a fantastic ride, just needs all new trains...

MillenniumForce04, I believe FoF had a total of three trains before this season. I also believe it may be blocked for four. One in the station, one at the unloading station, one on the brake run (before unloading), and the final one either between stations or on the midcourse brakes (I doubt they would use this one). I do however understand what you mean, as it is now FoF has a new train enter the station as the other immediately after the other is leaving. If they get the third train they need more ride ops to check the restraints.
I heard somewhere that the high brass at PKI says that Sonney is doing just fine with 2 cars. I actually agree with them. Every time I go to ride it, the lines not even to the ramp out of the station. Even if they put the 3rd car on, all it could do is speed it up.

http://www.premier-rides.com/installdex.html I don't think there will ever be three trains running...According to these stats, it can only hold two traversing the course...

Actually I think the Rock'n'rollercoaster at Walt Disney World runs like 5 trains at one time.

My Milk Money, And My Milk.
5 trains at a time? It wasn't designed by Premier, it was designed by Vekoma.
Also, where did you hear this? No LIM/LSM coaster could have 5 trains running, unless the track was about 10,000' long. You wouldn't be able to run all of the trains.
MillenForce04, Flight of Fear was indeed made by Premier. I am pretty sure that PKI`s FoF runs three trains as there is a block brake between the loading and unloading platforms.

www.geocities.com/coastersrz I`ve riden Son of Beast 43 times!
As I recall FofF indeed had 4 trains when it opened. I was told by a PKI employee that a ride operators error was the demise of the 4th train. While transferring it from the course to the storage tracks someone moved it the wrong direction through the wall of the building. While riding if you look in the transfer/ storage shed you can see where the wall was patched.

Welcome back riders, push down and then pull up on your lap bars and safely exit down the ramp to your right.
Yea they have mid-course brakes on FOF that have been turned off this year. Maybe they will turn those on and be able to have a 3 train operation? Just a thought
