Another Fair Injury

It's sad to see, but CNN.com is reporting that a women was injured at a fair in Costa Mesa, California on a ride called Adrenaline Drop... Let's all pray that she is alright. Here's the link to the story.

This is sad, and angering... I mean, the woman hurt hurself, and they said it wasn't anything too severe, and a person says that they will never ride, even though they rode it before. People sometimes don't realize this doesn't happen everyday...and what makes me even madder is that they include last weeks incident, which makes it look like it is an epidemic or something....

Yes, I do hope and pray that the woman gets better...but it is just so aggrivating to see this all happen, and people get so unrealistic about how bad rides are.

Is that the type of ride I seen at a park in Texas where your held in a special seating device, and literally drop through a hole in the carrage that takes you up, and freefall without any type of cords or any guide lines etc. Then the riders hit the net? If it is that ride has danger writen all over it.
I'm pretty sure it's a SCAD tower, the same type of ride that a person was injured on at IAAPA last year.
