Here is my two cents on cp. Keep in mind that I grew up at knoebels and hershey.
Raptor- This ride is really as cool as everyone says that it is. Although I find there to be a slight bit more headbanging on this one than Great Bear. I rode row three the seat on the right and it was much rougher than row four left. The only thing I don't like about this ride is that awful kink at the end of it, right before the brakes. But that first drop is awesome as is the whole ride.
Mantis- My first and only stand up. It seems the the first half of this ride is pretty smooth but after the block brakes the ride is a bit of a headbanger especially if your not expecting it. The trims on the first drop take some good speed away from the first half. I would have to ride this again to get another opinion but I wouldn't wait in too long of a line.
Iron Dragon- This is like a monorail gone astray. Has it's fast parts and it's a somewhat long ride. Cool ride for begginers or if you want to take a break from the wild stuff.
Mine ride- An above average mine ride. Not bad with two lift hills and a pretty good helix. The only thing I don't get about these old arrow mine rides is the horrible restraints. Apparantly back in the seventies(or whenever these were built) everybody was one size. Cuz that's how the restraints feel.
Gemini- This is one really fun coaster and almost always a walk on. Plenty of airtime and speed and height and the hand slapping is always fun. The only thing I don't like is how it slows up goin up some of the bigger hills. The other thing I don't like is that the cars aren't always even. Otherwise a really fun ride.
Mean Streak- I like to be as positive as possible about every coaster I ride and the only positive thing about this coaster is that I didn't ride it more than once. I don't understand how anyone would want to ride this let alone how it made it to the top twenty five of woodies. Here is a secret on the bathrooms. Go to the Hotel Breakers in the lobby area under that 5 story rotunda or whatever they call it, and use those bathrooms. Rather pleasant compared to the ones next to the Gemini.
Are you sure it is only three or four seconds of airtime(I think it is little bit more)?;) Punk I am with you.
