The article didn't show up in the news section, so I didn't bother clicking the link. I thought that maybe someone stole the animals and took them home to teach sign language to, then one of the animals would beat up a next door neighbor and have to live in a animal prison, where he would teach the other animals there how to fight the humans.

Did this get submitted to news? It would be awesome if it did.

or... OR... the animal, after learning sign language, dons a fedora and trenchcoat to pass as a human and learns to love a sweet but neglected deaf woman.

No one's being an asshole. We were just stating that the title was a bit misleading.

Story is that one drowned and the second was shot before it drowned. Supposedly, some activist type people posted pics of the "suffering" animals and posted them on Facebook. Have to question the wisdom of people who make this a priority when there's major flooding going on.
