Animal Kingdom getting a coaster.

I read on www.orlandorocks.com that Animal Kingodom is building a coaster. The only detail that was given is that the cost will be around 10 million dollars. Has anyone else heard anything about this?

Didn't Disney want to expand the park further than it is now? A coaster would sure help.

it's a racing/ spinning/ wild mouse coaster to be built in '02

I thought it was going to be a dueling inverted coaster themed after a Disney movie being shot right now back in Europe.

Yes that is for sure it will be in the dinoland USA area it said that in the video i ordered.

Beastly Kingdom was supposed to be an area that opened with the park but was puched back to phase 2. It was supposed to have Dragons Tower, dueling inverted coasters(remind you of dueling dragons at IOA). so I have heard that B eastly kingdom will be built and have a Dragon themed coaster but it will not be a Invert due to Dueling Dragons. On the other hand they are getting 2 spinning coasters in Dinoland along with a Dumbo type ride.

I heard at one point they were thinking of getting a flying coaster i think it was and they were going to call it fire mountin or something, but then they scraped it for some reason.

A coaster at Animal Kingdom was rumored long before the park even opened.

Juanzo is right, they are racing/dueling Reverchon spinning mice (think Exterminator @ KennyWood). I'm sure Screamscape has all the details under an OLD update.

Yep, and it's called Primeval Whirl. The hub and spoke ride is called Triceratops Spin, and it will be just like the Magic Carpets of Aladdin at the Magic Kingdom.

I love animal kingdom! The onlu problem is the India water ride ( i forget it's name) is really short. They need to add a bunch of ne cool stuff! A coupel coasters is a great idea!
