And.... you're broke!

I was playing a custom-created scenario I made (I have RCT2+WW), and I'm doing great... But once I get around year 10 or 11, Without doing a thing, I'm in the hole about 75k. After that, my money doesn't change, and it ruins any continuation of the park, as I can't even buy a bloody bench. I can't take out a loan (even though my loan balance is zero.)

Anyone else run into this? Any ideas for fixes?

When you set up the scenario turn on the no money option (as in everything is free to build not starting out with $0). This allows you to build coasters you could never think about attempting in normal mode, frees you from marketing and financial responsibility. Just be sure to make all rides and such available products at the begining because you cant do research in this mode.

That kinda takes away from the challenge of the scenario. Any other thoughts?
Set your maximum loan amout higher. You can set it to 5 million.

In the regular (non-custom) scenarios such as ones that say your objective is to get "x" number of high excitement coasters into the park without an actual time limit... those also seem to "make you lose" by the time you get out to 10 years of operation. Or at least that was my experience. Maybe its something built into the game?

Thanks TheRealCP. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one experiencing it.
Can't say I've actually played a park out that long...I think I've only made it to year 5 or 6 before I got bored with the same park all the time. Maybe I'll try it though...

No problem, Joe. It was OldCPer/CPLady who'd affirmed for me that it "wasn't just me" having that problem as well. ;)
