An extreme water coaster!!

I know this isnt an official coaster but according to the pamphlet that I got at work, this is the worlds only ground-loading, watercoaster. That means when you board a raft you actually are takin up a lift hill. Has anyone been on something like this? Personally I think its an extreme water ride but you cant deny its potential of being classified as a coaster. It also blasts you up bunny hills with extreme pressure from water blasts. To me this is the ultimate in water ride experience. Check out the website for this park which is just outside of Rockford Illinois.

I'm glad you like my favorite water ride. If you ever get around to riding it, you've got to ride it twice. Once in the front, and once in the back. Dry rided front. Soaked rides back. It's got an out and back layout, a little longer, with 2 more hills than in the picture. All the turns enclosed, providing for a pitch black adventure. Even more so at night. Slight reflections in the tunnels make you think you're going left, and as you brace to go one way, you go the opposite. If you ever pass by Rockford, you can see it from the interstate at the intersection of I-90 and I-39.

Yeah its a good ride except for it has a very LOW capacity meaning you will wait for quite awhile to get on but its a unique experience, they have something kind of like this at The Beach near PKI through the woods.
Can you say MASTER BLASTER!?!?!? The same ride exists at Schlitterbahn waterpark in texas. It looks awesome. Maybe I can chide the 'rents enough that they'll take me up to rockford!
Yup, it's the same kind of technology as on Master Blaster. I wouldn't ride it, I myself hate water slides.

Everybodys got something to hide except for me and my monkey!
It is not the only ground loading water coaster. Dragon Blaster at Schlitterbahn is launched up a hill at first. Mater Blaster drops right at the first. I have ridden both.

I remember seeing a show about this type of ride and it looks like a rush, I hope Soak City one day gets one!
The one in Texas is on Extreme Rides 2000 I think. Some show like that.
I'll tell you what guys... I'm sorry to dissapoint you, but this ride always has an hour wait, and it's just not worth it. I live in Rockford and the ride is the best ride at the park but it's just not very good.
Wow, that name is great! Master Blaster is now my all time favourite ride name after Mister Twister! Who on earth comes up with these!?!
ive been on it its pretty cool and its pretty cool how they send you in the dark tunnel and you have no idea where your going
I enjoyed the Green Extreme (Is that the right name?) at the NRH20 water park in North Richland Hills water park in Texas. It's also one of these water-coaster-slide-type-things. I found it to be quite fun! The tunnels were pitch black and surprised me quite a bit.
