*Jeff I know this is a ski place and if you have a problem with this I understand but I'm just giving everyone something to read during the offseason*

Yesterday my Mom, Dad, brother kevin (6 yrs old), and my friend pat (13 yrs like me), and I went skiing at Bristol Mountain. Which I'm sure most of you have never heard of.

Theres the trail map

A little overview:

Bristol Mountain is a 1200 foot vertical ski resort in Western New York. There are 32 trails, 6 lifts, and two lodges.

Within the last 3 years this family owned place has added:

-A high speed quad

-Transformed a double chair to a triple

-Added 10 new trails

-An all new terrain park

-A new beginner area

-A regular speed quad chair

This was my first time there and I am coming back! After going to Mont Tremblant (an aweseome place in Canada) I have to say that this place was like a mini tremblant!

We rode the Comet Express Quad all day long and it takes 3 minutes to get to the summit. The trails were awesome. I am and advanced skier and the runs were perfect for me, long, and moderately steep.

My favorite runs included Comet, which is under the Comet Express Quad. This is a double black diamond trail that was awesome!. It wasn't that hard but the powder was great! Others included Meteor, a mogul field, and Rocket, a long black diamond cruiser run. I also enjoyed an brand new easy run called Nova. Nova is the trail my mom went on almost every run.

I stopped the new sunset lodge a few times to get a bite to eat and the food was terrific. Also the workers were very friendly, and the lift "dudes" almost always said "Hows the mountain?" or "How are ya?".

The day was awesome, great trails for everyone, an awesome hi speed quad, along with great food.

If you are ever in Canandagiua (sp?) New York stop and ski!

Thanks for reading!
