I feel bad for the family of the man killed. That was one hell of an accident. He and the girl injured are in my prayers.

Amusements of America did our local fair which I decided to try. They kept the amusement area very clean and the employees seemed very friendly and enjoyed their jobs.

It appears to be a case of somebody being someplace they shouldn't have been. Then the local media starts talking about the Re-Mix incident in Ohio. They erronously stated that that particular ride belonged to Aof A. It doesn't, it is the property of Wood Enterprises. I wish these talking heads would have their staff do some REAL research.
Yeah, well, WCMH-TV in Columbus didn't bring up the fact that this was the same show that did the Ohio State Fair, but they incorrectly stated that the worker who was killed fell 30' from a platform while conducting a safety inspection. I have no idea where they got that idea...you don't usually do safety inspections on fully loaded, operating rides. And this is the second carnival worker in as many weeks to learn that you NEVER, NEVER, NEVER step into the path of a moving ride!
