Its funny my girlfriend now, Katie, and I had our first date at SFOG. It was funny because I only went with her because she liked rollercoasters and I wanted to ride rides. All of my friends are scared of coasters. It sucks because I never wanted to go by myself. Well I was talking to Katie at work and she mentioned that she liked rollercoasters. So I decided really to just use her as someone to ride with. We both bought season passes because they were only 45 dollars. Well we ended up having a great time, and on our second time going we had our first kiss there. We have since been 8 times. It is great having someone that loves coasters as much as I do. My ex didn't like them. We went to disney and I couldn't ride anything. Anyway me and Katie have been together 6 months now and she started out only being someone to ride with.

Parks are a fantastic place for a date, that is if your date loves rides like she says......I have been lied to! :( But that's no reason to stop having fun. Lookin' for that perfect park lovin' companion can be difficult (there aren't many out there), and seeing that I'm nearly dead, I hope something happens soon! :)

And yes, Whizzer can be a great ride, as can any haunted house or boat ride, like the one at Lake Winnie!

Geez Arrowguy, if you are almost dead I must be starting to smell up the cue line!!! ;) Seriously, Angela only rode her first coaster last fall, and it scared the h@#l out of her. She was looking forward to riding, and I didn't think anything of it and took her straight to the Boss at SFStl. She was fine for the first 2 seconds until she realized she still had a tremendous fear of heights and of falling to her death!!! But I am proud to say the height thing is no longer an issue. MF is the final hurdle for her and she can't wait to ride it. Now if I could just get her on a freefall all would be right with the world! :)

Just a couple of G-force junkies!

The General asthetics alone make it a good idea. There is Much More around to provide excitement than just Yourself. Boredome will probably not be a problem and you'll have plenty of time to talk while in line. A bit expensive perhaps, but the girl would surely appreciate the extense of the date, as opposed to a $6 movie and $15 dinner. I went to a small carnival with my (ex) girlfriend and it was one of the best times we had.
