Next summer I have to get some sort of co-op - like an internship where you get paid - and I figure the coolest thing to do would be having one at an amusement park. I'm majoring in mechanical engineering, so naturally I need to find something that is in that field. The short story - what kind of jobs, if any, are available at amusement parks for mechanical engineers. If it matters, I would probably be doing it at the Great Escape, or possibly SFNE. Any info would be great. Thanks.
You're probably going to have a tough time getting co-op credit in engineering by working at a park, although I would love to do the same thing for next summer. I worked at CP last summer and I wish I had gone a year sooner so I could have gotten two seasons in. Unfortunately, the whole co-op thing is what's keeping me from going back. I love that place! You don't go to RIT by any chance do you? I'm going there for computer engineering. My dream job is to work for a company like Consign AG... ;)
