Amusement Park Companies

Well I don't think this has been discussed before, (if so could somebody give me the link to the previous forum) but anyway.....I'm working on something, and I need to know all of the major amusement park companies. i.e. Cedar Fair, Six Flags etc.....

If somebody could type them up possibly or something, or type a link to a site that shows them, I would be a happy camper. :) Thanks in advance!

Theme Parks LLC is sorta big
I'm supried nobody has mentioned Disney
Hershey also owns Dutch Wonderland. Whoever cares.

Seasame Place is a Busch property.

The word "definitely" is definitely the most misspelled word on the buzz.

Up until the dashed line I have them ordered by chain size:

Six Flags

Alfasmarts

Disney

Busch Entertainment Corp.

Universal

Cedar Fair

Premier Parks Inc.

Action Amusements Inc.

Empire Amusement Parks Pty. Ltd.

Paramount

Kennywood Enterainment

---------------------------

Great Northwest Development Co.

John Collins Leisure/Fantasia Parks

Interplay Park

Fun Planet, Inc.

Harbour Park Ltd.

Adventureland of America Inc.

Texas Travel Industry Association

Lake Compounce-So Fresh and So Clean Clean

Six Flags started off under a parent company, Great Southwestern Corporation (Angus Wynne controlled it). Later it just became "Six Flags," and finally was purchased by Time Warner. Even later, Premier bought the entire family of parks, and once again changed has changed to simply "Six Flags."

That's a sort-of history of the company. Don't quote me on it, it's not terribly accurate.

Nice list, though only about 7 make a profit. And whoever made that crack on Dutch Wonderland..., well, YOU own a better park?
