Amusemant Park Romance!

Thursday, March 7, 2002 1:28 PM

I have seen and done a share of weird things in the Q-Lines! One day when I was waiting in line for Magnum XL-200 at CP, i was with a bunch of my friends from school. In the line was me and this girl that I had a crush on the longest time! I tell you what, if there's any bright side to staying in Line for two hours, it would be to get to know someone from the opposite sex really well. After the ride, we had dinner at Johnney Rockets (pretty cool resteraunt!) and, let's just say, had a little fun on the train that goes around frontier town, if you're catching my drift! Me and her have been going out know for about a year!

So has anyone else had a little bling-bling goin at an amusemant park? If you think about it, that's the perfect place to go out on a date if your a teenager (of course if your willing to pay two $40 admissions!)

So

I have. Back in December me and my newly engaged finace went to Silver Dollar City on our first date. I love amusement parks, but sharing an amusement park with the person you love is WAY BETTER! Now we are looking at maybe getting married at the same park that we first shared together. Amusement Parks are great places for dates. My suggestion, while at the park take the train ride =) .

Yup, I'm getting married to my riding partner in August! We didn't meet at a park, but love blossomed on the Ghostrider.

This is probably something you don't want to hear, but a huge amusement/theme park pet-peeve of mine is when people makeout in the queue. Grrrr! It burns me up. Especially when a huge gap opens in front of them in the line and they're into each other so much they fail to realize it. *coughs* Move up! GO! *coughs* LOL! Okay, I feel better now.

On subject, I have taken a date to a park before and have had a very good time. It you are with someone you enjoy being around, its great. Just no making out in line! :) :)

I'll tell you all whats disgusting is when 12 or 13 year olds have "amusment park romance". I say kids are growing up too fast (or at least pretending to grow up)

I'll admit it, I did make out at CP, it wasn't in the Q-Lines, though. We went on to the train that goes around frontier town and went around about four times! ;)

On the Ferris Wheel at SFEG, you can see some "amusement park romance", but sometimes you see way to much unfortunatly. Also, if you read some of the messages that have been written on the Ferris Wheel you can tell some romance went on...

Pet peeve... "Queue line" is redundant, like "PIN number."

My gf is scared of rollercoasters. Our school goes to many fieldtrips to parks, too. Sorry Ozzyhead, is 14 old enough?

What I want to know is since when does "bling-bling" have anything to do with making out?

If y'all are going to use 'ghetto slang' at least have the common courtesy to get it right.

bling-bling: An outward expression of wealth, often through extravagance and frivolity. Commonly associated with gold, diamond, and platinum jewelery because the way light reflects off of them with an almost 'audible' force.

edit--I forgot to respond to the topic. I have never been to a park with a member of the opposite sex that I liked. I want to though. Too bad Sky Whirl bit the dust.

OHIcOaster: I couldn't agree with you more. PDA at the park is really rancid. It's always the "upper crust" of society, too, you know, fat slobs in spandex.

I'm guessing by PDA you don't mean Personal Digital Assistant;) BTW, what does that mean?

I got my two friends (that were girls) to make out on Nitro for me. It was pretty cool. I didn't buy the picture but the people said look at the two lesbos in the back row. Good Times...
