Well, the latest word from Americana is to be patient and hold on. Really the latest thing to be said on record is that J. Couch (Owner of Americana) mentioned to M. Crowther (ACE preservation Director) that he hopes to have Americana open in 2001, but work is taking a lot longer than he expected. Mr. couch also mentioned that the Serpent (a Galaxi rollercoaster) is being removed due to high maintenance requirements.
