Americana question

When do we offically find out if it's opening or not? I thought I heard two weeks and it's been two weeks ago! Also, I had heard that the rides were for sale on some used ride type web site? Anyone heard anything?

Good point, it has indeed been two weeks. well, ARROW GUY went by there on Saturday and it has a new sign, and there are flags in the parking lot, for the new camper store. He made mention to the place looking great still.

Jerry Couch is serious about opening this place, its just a matter of time. Unfortunatly, one more winter and they are going to need to seriously rehab the idle rides

Don't worry about our weather. I don't know how it was in Columbus, but in Geauga we got the first snow of December (less than a half inch) today!

I don't think winter is an issue ;)

Hmm, here in Columbus we've barely dipped below freezing.  Which is fine with me.

I hate not having snow!  At least I'm going to Missouri on Sunday.  For the five years I've lived in Columbus, I've never once seen signs of the park in general.  It's really weird.

I don't mind snow unless I have to drive in it....
HEY! This is a question about Americana, not snow! Has anyone heard of the decision to open or not!
Sorry about that http://www.dreamwater.com/americana
and John Peck's post.
Edit: here is the construction:
