American School holidays. Help please!

I am possibly visiting a theme park of my choice (Magic Mountain, Great America etc) in early summer but I would like to miss the American school holidays.

Could somebody please give me a rough idea of when the America schools break up for summer. Thankyou for your help!

a general rule of thumb is from Memorial Day (Last Monday in May) to Labor Day (First Monday in September) most schools are in Summer Vacation...

Some areas start vacation before Memorial Day, though...

Yeah, try to go sometime in early June before every single school is out or just make sure you dont go on a weekend and you should be fine.

btw how long do the queues normaly reach say for Milenium Force on a peak day?

MF line, when entirely full, and assuming no mechanical failure and three train operation, is 2hrs and 45 min (and worth every second of it :))
