Amazing Earl has finshed

I think some of us play the game differently that others. I am middle of the road actaully. I like the fun in beating the scenario, but being the realist that I am I like to create nice looking parks with realistic rides and scenery.

I love Amazing Earl's rides. The only drawback is that they increase your sv6 file size dramatically. I was re-doing my Fiesta park and was so tempted to add some of his rides. However, I would never be able to upload it on the Cbuzz game site.

Fate is the path of least resistance.

I play for the scenarios, much like Gonchar. Except that he's much better at the coaster design thing than I am ;)

But does he know whats being built at Busch Gardens Williamsburg?

Take Me Higher
It all comes down to how you use the game. If you play it as a game that your trying to win(the way it was intended by Chris Sawyer) then Gonch is right. 100 scramblers won't make a difference to the peeps they'll still line up for them.

Now for people like me who when we first saw this game said "Wow now I can Build my fantasy park" Then Earl and the others have been helpful.

Now as I've said before I only wish we could take an intact park far enough back into the senario editor to add these rides. I don't like the way all your rides, staff, shops and peeps are removed when you try to do this.

It is now posted on RCT2 that a member named Kahula is working on verison of the Huss Swing Out and Jump 2. The Swing Out will work so that is something to look forward to.....The Jump 2 is large and the animation may be very difficult to master, but it will be very cool if he pulls it off.
Sounds great but I hope these rides can get put up for download on sites other than RCT2.com & RCTDepot.

You've gotta sign up for their boards just to download anything & it's not really worth the trouble if you ask me...BTW what exactly is the Huss swing out?now if someone can only make a Roto-shake then I'd be a happy player.

If that man only knew how famous he was.

Amaizing Earl has left a legacy(oh how cheesy) and new ride creators have learned from him. It's seldom you don't see a topic on RCT2.com about a new ride saying it is or isn't AE quality.

It's sad he's done, but hey, now we have Riggger, who is entirely willing to make kiddie rides, something I had secretly hoped Earl would make.

Edit: Friggin' link won't work.

The Huss Swing out is similar to a Dartron Hurricane, except the cars swing in and out in an alternating pattern instead of all at the same time. However, it appears that the RCT2 version will have the same motion as the Hurricane because of animation limits...

Kennywood has a Swing Out as well as Great American at Chicago (Ricochet).

The Kennywood (and Dorney) rides are Huss Swing Arounds. I think there's another manufacturer (Fabbri?) that makes a ride called the Swing Out.

They're probably referring to the Huss ride, though.

Hi

Any news on that Roto-shake yet?

I checked out the link & the only finished ride available so far appears to be a cross between a top spin & a majic carpet ride...I hope this guy is able to do a more accurate version using the inverter ship & top spin car instead.
