Am I finally getting an Intamin coaster in FL?

This tidbit was posted as news on another site, and I was wondering how it had escaped my attention:  If true, my faith in FL theme parks will be rejuvenated for years to come...

Universal Studios will knock our socks off again with the debut of the new Apollo 13 coaster. Designed by Intamin, this ride will take the Amazing Adventures of Spiderman and add real life coaster thrills to amazing 3D technlogy to create what is sure to be a monumental thrill ride experience. Riders will travel inside an actual Apollo command module over the coaster track while looking at the effects outside through windows. The ride will feature
drops, turns and inversions making this the most technologically advanced ride on the planet. Be sure to check ThrillNetwork for all the schematics of Apollo
13.

There are going to attach and actual Apollo command module to wheels and send it down a coaster track?  That is a little tough to believe.  I did hear about the new coaster but that sounds a little strange.

It says "actual command module", but let's face it, THAT is *highly* unlikely!

Yeah. Insert the words "replica of" in there and it's a TAD more likely.

Like all such massive projects, I'm taking an "I'll believe it when I see it" attitude. It sounds great, but we'll see.

Initially, I had my doubts, but the site has pictures that prove the patent. This could just be the beginning stages of development, though, which would mean that we won't see the ride for a while. It took years to develop Spiderman.
I can't see the ride fitting in IOA, but it would defanitely be a good idea for the studios park.
We'll have to wait and see, but check out the link to the photos.
