Am I crazy...DCA preview on ABC Sunday?

Ok...I sent this in for a news headline, and I was 99% sure it wouldn't make it due to it not being on tvguide.com or abc.com...but I swear to God, I saw commercials for a preview to Disney's California Adventure on ABC, Sunday, at 8pm. It looked really cool, they showed the river rapids ride and California Screamin'.

Yeah I seen one last night'but I forget what channel.

It wouldn't surprise me. They did the same thing when Splash Mountain opened.

It is true, at least if you live in LA (or have the Los Angeles feed of ABC). It is on "Eye on LA" on Saturday at 7:30 pm.

Is that KTLA? Or what station call letters is that?

Well, I was not watching it, but a friend of mine called me up and said he saw me on the show! I was at DCA (skipping work: see trip reports) for a preview day and there were camera crews all around the park. I guess I never put 2 and 2 together.

I guess I was on camera in the Robert Mondavi Winery area, talking about the various "gourmet" selections that they have to offer. I am the goofy lookin' tall redhead with the black GOLIATH t-shirt, drinking a very enjoyable glass of Merlot.

Anybody know when this will be replayed?

They didnt show the Mondovi Winery. ???????

My fiance saw Michael Eisner on that girlie show The View talking about DCA. Anyone see this? She said the way he was talking, the area "he" built the park in (the city in general) had become something like a less desirable urban area and it needed attention. Disney can save California (?). Disney can curb crime (?). As for ABC, Eisner and the Mouse took away my NHL AllStar game yesterday and nobdy will tell me why. They are such a good family package that on GMA tommorrow they are trying to show a live child birth :(. Maybe the DCA preview will get thrown in, too. Two family features on one show.

There were 2 specials. One was "Eye On L.A.," a half hour "tour" show, that was the one I was on.

The other one was the ABC one hour "production" show with Colin Quinn and various other stars on a LAME trek through the park. The ABC production was on last night at 8:00, and may be played again. The Eye On L.A. one was a local show, I doubt if it will be on again.

Hey, Soggy, you said that you skiped work then was shown TV at DCA. Looks like you were caught. Lets hope your boss was not watching. hehe ;)

Now, about Eye On LA not re-airing, um, I think that it might. I think that I have seen that show before at very odd hours.

Ah, gotcha. I didnt catch the Eye on LA one. And I cant count how many times I skipped work for a press event and found myself on TV. (cough cough)
