Alton Towers possible new coaster layout

The layout for Alton Towers' new coaster has apparently been leaked. Should be interesting to see if this is in fact the new ride. If so, we can most likely limit it to either a Vekoma or Premier design because as far as I know, those are the only two companies that have created ride with operating switchbacks in the layouts. With the tilting rumors, I am placing my best on a new Vekoma creation. http://www.coasterclub.org/

Switchbacks? Such as on a SLC?

No, such as on Expedition Everest.

Looks like a boring layout and why would there be such a short bit of track from switchback to switchback. Anyway I doubt the fact that it has/might have a switchback limits it to any specific designer. Anybody could build a ride that does this.

If it's a boring layout it's probably a B&M

Maurer Söhne have also made rides with track switches.

The backwards section does look pointlessly short.
