lton Towers has announced the first wooden rollercoaster to be built in the UK since Oakwood Theme Park's Megafobia in 1996, which shares a name with the classic horror film The Wicker Man.

Although the ride shares a name with the famed film, along with a giant burning wicker man, Alton Towers has insisted that The Wicker Man at Alton Towers was not directly inspired by The Wicker Man starring Christopher Lee.
This is the most ridiculous thing I've read in a long time.
