Alpine slides

The alpine slide at Attitash Mtn. in Bartlett, New Hampshire is still there, and it is great fun.

Does CCI know how to make a bad coaster?

Ah yes, Cave City is my hometown and the Alpine Slide is about the only interesting thing we have here, (amusement park-wise) other than Mammoth Cave. I remember one summer, when my Dad was working at the Corvette plant, they handed out passes for one free slide down the mountain. Everybody he worked with decided they had no use for their ticket and gave them to him and our family made an entire day out of free passes to the slide. Must've rode that thing 2 or 3 dozen times. I still think it's a blast after all these years too. You get to going down that hill and wonder if you should actually let it go wide-open but are a bit scared of what might lie around the next curve. It was always fun to take my cousins that came from out of town to the slide and we'd all have races on it. Ah, the memories. :)
