alligator pit on montu?

i have heard that ther is an alligator pit under montu, where is it, ive never noticed it.
There are a few alligators below the turn from the station onto the lift.

Whoa that is a neat effect. Are they any active? I rode the little safari ride at Animal Kingdom and it looked like all the animals were fake! They all just stood around except for their tail swinging which looked very fake.

They are active. I was there when someone dropped their shoe and zookeepers ahd to get it back. Whe I went back in Janaruray Montu was closed for painting. But in Sep. when my dad went the alligators were no longer there.

i remeber the gaters, they look closer to your feet than they actualy are.the first time i went on montu,i raised my legs up becouse i thought they would snap at my legs.
Here in Tampa we have had a drought, so maybe that is the cause of the gators dissapparance. My first ride on Montu was in June and there were no gators. I heard about them, but have never seen them.

I heard that the park moved the Nile crocodiles to a different pen in the park when they got too big at the Montu pen. I also heard that they kept snapping at people's feet, I'm not sure that part's true though.

I was just there on Sunday the 11th and the gators or crocs weren't there and the pit was dry. They were moved to another part of the park I believe. And by the way, Rhino Rally is coming along nicely, should be a great new attraction!
