This was submitted as news, but it feels kinda expected. Cedar Point says that the all-park passport will include all of the Six Flags parks next year:

I hope that they price it like it's worth something more, too. Even some non-enthusiast friends I have this year were doing three or four parks in the same year. Obviously they know the true numbers, but it shouldn't be cheap.

Agree with you that I hope they price it like it's worth something more. And hoping that legacy Six Flags does something similar, and that I am somehow grandfathered in at the current price. Which ... seems unlikely.
The 2025 All Park Passport is $75 at Schlitterbahn when added to the $115 Texas2Splash Pass.

Buried in there, while your pass will get you parking and entry the added perks (dining, fast lanes, etc) will not transfer between the two groups and discounts will be announced later.

I wonder if this is temporary or something that will continue into the future. I think we all assumed that the Cedar Fair and Six Flags parks would operate as separate brands, but assumed there would be some cross over. This gets you in the park free, but makes you pay extra for everything else, even if you have the Cedar Fair add-ons.
On one hand, this could be temporary as they work to unify their systems to be the same across parks. The ticketing system will be done, but maybe not the food and skip-the-line technology.
On the other hand, this could be a way to make more off of patrons who are interested in exploring new parks. I have a fully loaded Cedar Point Gold Pass (Food, drink, Fast Lane), so I don't have to pay any additional money should I go to Carowinds or Kings Dominion. But when I show up at Six Flags Great Adventure, sure I get in free, but I have to pay additional for my typical experience. Most folks will never have to think about this since they usually visit their local park, but for those of us who travel, it increases our spend in the park.
The price probably won’t increase much. They dug a ditch with their lowball pricing. If they raise it too much, they will chase off too many customers. Which is exactly what Six Flags did when they raised prices after Bassoul took over.
I think the plan is to give away admission to the other chains parks. And since they are not including the add ons they expect extra spending on meals etc when customers cross over.
Sort of how season passes used to work before they decided to give it ALL away with season, dining, drinks etc. and passes use to generate spending on every visit
I really don't believe they are going to increase the price by a significant amount. In reality, who would travel to nearly every park in the chain on an All Park Passport priced at, let's say, $250.
In our case, we only used our Platinum Pass for Cedar Point, Kings Island, and Kings Dominion, with the rare trip to Canada's Wonderland. We did not opt for the All Park Passport this year, so we have limited our trips to Cedar Point.
What I would like to see is a "Select Park Passport" priced at $100-$125, where you could select a fixed number of parks to visit. That would have value to me. Right now, if the Passport were to cost $250 I would opt out, since I would not get the value from it.
Living in NJ and being from Sandusky this is a no brainer.
On my end of last year pass have been to CP twice, Dorney 3 times, and KD. If can add GrAdv and SFNE, and if felling bold GrEsp and America. Let’s go.
I bet you get a 15-25% discount on SF food. Im just curious how much of that Cap Ex budget going to fix the SF food situation.
I also find it interesting they highlight those 6 SF parks.
Based on the early Schlitterbahn pricing, it doesn't seem like it will be expensive. They seem to be keeping with their recent strategy of giving away the gate, drinks, and food so that they get all of their revenue up front. Then they can operate the parks in a half assed manner and if you don't like it, buy a Fastlane Plus which costs 2X as much as your season pass for a single day. So you get a ghetto experience for a cheap price or a decent experience at a very high price. The middle ground is kind of gone and unfortunately, I think that's where my family and probably the majority of visitors sit.

It now looks like the Six Flags parks will be similar: https://www.sixflags.com/gr...further-14
But what is still not even getting a whisper is what will happen to "Memberships".
Less than $200 for the All Park Gold Pass at Kings Dominion. No price increase from last year, might even be a little less
Pricing is out on the Cedar Point Website. Gold Pass add-on is $85.00, Prestige Pass add-on is $99.00 for 2025.
This is the first year in about 10 that I made use of an all parks add-on. Most previous years if we were going to a non-home park it would only be one park for one day which did no justify the cost. This spring we basically said, "We're going to Carowinds later this summer. How can we arrange our travel plans to make use of an all parks add-on?" and so we went to Knott's two days in a row and Carowinds two days on the same trip in addition to our Great America visits.
It doesn't seem like very much added value to the "average person" to now have 15 parks they don't travel to instead of 8.

It depends entirely on where you live, I’d think. I’m in NYC, getting Dorney plus SFGAdv is significantly better than SFNE or Great Escape plus GAdv. But for many folks, yes.
