Falling out of your seats because it was going slow IS negative G's (or at least less than 1 g).
Not the same negative G's you get going over a bunny hill, but gravity is now pointing (relatively) upward and if that's enough to overcome your centrifugal inertia, then you get negative (or less than 1) g's and you feel floaty.
Unless you were in the front and fell into your restraint because the rest of the train was catching up. That's not really airtime though.
