Air Canada to fly special-needs kids to Disneyland

When 151 Calgary and area special-needs kids board an Air Canada jet on Wednesday morning, they will spend a magical 20-hour day at the "happiest place on earth" -- Disneyland. The Dreams Take Flight charity, run by Air Canada employees, is sponsoring the event.

I love hearing stories like this one. I work with adults with Mental Retardation, and it is sad that most of them never get to see the joys of life that these children did. Families put all the have into taking care of their child and don't have the time or money to take such a trip. I wish there were more programs like this one.
