Kikkazz! Now a view without the plane ticket!

Uh, yeah, it takes forever for these videos to download, and I'm on a LAN with a T1, so what's the deal? I click on the link, it starts, then stops, so I choose to open it in another window. That just takes forever. These files aren't that huge, either. Weird.

I did a right-click and did a save-as via IE 6.0, and the transfer rate that I am getting is about 40 k/sec download of the AIR video and the Colossus one.

I'm guessing that the transfer rate could be do to the server that the files are sitting on? Lots of network traffic on that server?

Just my guesses...

The AIR video was ok, but it was mainly the same part of the ride over and over at different angles, not sure if it was worth downloading for an hour.

An hour!? I got it in 5 minutes (cable). Air sure doesn't look tame or slow, in fact it looks like a lot of fun.

I agree. I think it's all about managed expecations. Iron Dragon isn't the greatest suspended coaster ever made, but I still enjoy it, especially at night.
