After the new waterpark GL will still have 170 acres on Sea Worls Side

However a current monorail trip could take 3 years to go all the way around the lake.

The problem with going completely around the lake isnt the houses(which by the way the park owns most of already) its the little .25 acre park that occupys a strech of the lake along rt.43 in which the park doesnt own and the owners are very reluctent to give up. SF tried for years to buy it from them with no luck. Maybe a giant steel and concrete railroad tressel acorss the lake where the old floating bridge used to be? ;)

Well, they can build a bridge over the lake for the train to bypass the little park, couldn't they?

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks, than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Maybe they could just figure out a creative, not to mention, pretty way to just put a Walmart and several drug stores on the land. Most of NE ohio is comprised of walmarts, drugmarts, CVS and rite aide.. i almost forgot WalGreens... Like: Welcome to Camp Walmart! For a Camp, Cramp and an Exit Ramp, choose Camp Walmart...
sure, there;s a walmart across the street from the park anyway, but that doesn't matter. :) *** Edited 11/12/2004 8:45:51 PM UTC by FLYINGSCOOTER***

What will they do with the current Hurrican Harbor? Will they tear it out after phase 2 is done and develop it into more land for rides and other things?
Forget the monorail, have any of you seen the speed the thing goes at? If they were to do the monorail they would have to renovate the ride, add a faster train, extend the track, and last of all where does the money for this come from? I think either is a consideration for future referance if attendance, sales, ect all are up, the park will have future expansions and projects, improvements, ect.

ToddConstantine, I had the same though, with the old Hurrican Harbor spot open, what will they put there, we are thinking alon the same lines, lol! :)
