AFLAC duck gets wild roller coaster ride

That white duck selling AFLAC insurance has made his way to our favorite past time, and he appears a little shaken by the experience. The ride is Playland's Coaster.

Anyone who has read any of my posts will know this is my favorite coaster.It was neat to see it featured in the AFLAC ad.However,I should let other Coasterbuzzers know that the future of this great coaster is endangered,so get your rides soon!Better yet,call,e-mail or write the park and let them know that the Coaster should be saved.

No problems viewing it here. I thought it was really funny!

What coaster and park is it? I had to refresh my browser then it worked, verrrryyyy slow download though! Saw this commercial during the coaster marathon on discovery channel on memorial day.

The coaster in the AFLAC commercial is the Coaster at the Pacific National Exhibition/Playland park in Vancouver,BC.It was designed by Carl Phare,in fact it was his last coaster.It is the only coaster of his still standing.This coaster was built in 1958,but has a 1920s design and feel.
